Adam Lind is a very good major league first baseman.  #1 BH4 - Hill scoops the ball off the dirt on the third base side of the 2nd base line and slings a throw to first - the throw pulls Lind off the bag to the home plate side - safe, pulled off - is the umpires call - but it was also late in my opinion. Lind pulls off the bag and makes sure the ball doesn't get away. He rescues errant throws ALL the time it seems to me - the infield feels comfortable throwing to him.
