Scorecard: June 21, 2011 Blue Jays at Braves - Game 2 of 3

It's pretty hard to erase everything in a blog post. I've never done it before, but as my publish status in the middle of the 7th came back showing blank - I made a mistake. I closed the browser and restarted, thus losing all my past edits. 2 hours of sorekeeping and nothing to show for it but a lesson learned - a lesson I already learned, but forgot in a moment of panic.

Lesson 2 on this - don't panic.

1st Inning

Skies are darkening end of one.

4th Inning

ESPN pitch by pitch finally updating - dead since the 1st. I'm publishing before ESPN!

Post Game

Strange. I've been having trouble with ESPN pitch by pitch the last three days - once a bookmark to the "Blue Jays Clubhouse" went dead - the next day the feed stopped updating in the 6th. Today, after I changed bookmarks and got the 'Clubhouse' link working again, the feed stopped in the bottom of the first. In the forth I got the innings up to date on one page load, and then it reverted back to the second inning. In the 7th I went to Google search and loaded the ESPN pitch by pitch page from a search listing - it updated perfectly all the way to the end of the game.

I actually kept up just fine with the radio broadcast (FAN590 Toronto) - once you don't have the back-up of the internet you pay better attention to the announcers call. Once in a while, on the turn around, I would have to score a couple of pitches with pencil and paper - which I had handy today for just that circumstance.
