Do or die for the Bay Rays.

These five game series are an insult to the regular season and an insult to the post season. Two wins in a row is not an unusual occurrence in baseball, sweeps of three games are rare; but now in the post season the best teams are playing each other and after two games they change cities, so and here we are with the Tampa Bay Rays needing to win 100% of the games left in this series - starting with this Rangers home game in Arlington.

The division series should be expanded to 7 games as soon as possible.

Crawford called out strike three looking. A beautiful sliding high arching slider/change sliced the strike zone into two pyramids as far as I could tell.

I immediately went to Brooks Baseball.net to see if the data was in yet - it was.

Two camera angles mashed through an algorithm say it was 4 inches off the plate.

What do I know. Looked good to me.

Bottom of the 8th

CRAWFORD!! Great diving catch on a fly slicing towards the line midway down the line, for the third out. Crawford stops sliding about 20 feet from the line. Shuts Texas down, could be an important play. Crawford leads off the ninth.

Top of the 9th

Crawford's long at-bat has silenced the crowd, a towering slam to right goes foul. Two pitches later, as I'm writing this he homers to right centre.
