For personal reasons I couldn't score any games Friday. As such I missed this game, Cincinnati at Philadelphia - Game 2 and also, Atlanta at San Fransisco - Game 2.
Ironically, I found out I wouldn't be scoring Friday immediately after I published, I'm Score Keeping every game of the 2010 MLB Post Season at BaseballBlogs. So to fill in the record I'm going to 'backwards engineer' these two games from the data sets at baseball-reference.

Baseball-Reference Scoring Notations
I decided to take this opportunity to learn the state of the art, project scoresheet scoring notations by using Baseball-Reference box scores as my reference. Up until now I have been using the behemoth four page box score at ESPN as a reference when I missed a play.
My scoring notations use the project scoresheet scoring notations that were designed to allow for computer imputs; but in reading the box score at Baseball-Reference I'm learning that there is a lot more detail being scored than I have included in these score cards.
For example: 5th Batter top of the second - Nix, has a 'T' notation in the pitch column. It stands for foul tipped and caught by the catcher. Holy! OK I'll use it handy when at strike three the ump shows the sign of fouled of but caught , strike three your out - which I didn't score. Neat.
Next, 7th Batter, top of the second inning - Stubbs, first pitch was a wild pitch and Nix moved up to second base. I've always noted a pass ball with a lower case 'wp' in the pitch columns followed immediately (to show they're connected) by 'B', so, wpB. Also in the AB box on the top line I note #5 1,2 - meaning the fifth batter in the order moved from 1B to 2B.
Next new thing in Stubbs AB, a comma before a notation - in this case comma S (,S) meaning that there was a play on the runner before the strike swinging pitch was thrown (probably the pitcher threw to second to keep Nix honest).
Next in Stubbs at-bat, another new notation for me, '*B', which indicates a Ball, blocked by catcher - which helps the reader understand the pitcher is still a little wild out there.
The rest of the notations in the project scoresheet method are pretty self explanatory - here's a list:
Also I'm seeing the length of balls hit is recorded with these notations:
deep
weak
short
