Well, Here's hoping the Yankees lose again. Last night was my most enjoyable American League game in a long while. Dynasties are boring, watching them fall is fun! :)
Here's a couple of handy charts from Allan Wood at Joy of Sox:

Game Notes:
End of 2nd inning
After the inning Greg Zaun, at the Toronto broadcast studio (from now on "The Broadcaster" in all this writers writing) says why not review the fan interference?
Yeah. Why not? The Umpire who made the judgment call was 200 feet away. Lets get it right? And then Selig holds an impromptu press conference with the TBS guy in the stands and only talks about how they got the Berkman call right, no mention of the fan interference play.
Spin-cycle anyone?
Here's a nice GIF of the Yankee Fans who interfered taunting Texas RF Nelson Cruz as Cano is circling the bases.
GIF from Et tu, Mr Destructo?/via Joy of Sox contributor, Benjamin.
Bottom 4th
Ron Washington on the small ball runs in the 3rd (2 runs on one hit - both runners moved up, over and in on sacrifices).
"Just tr'in to do what the game asks us to do."
Love that respect for the game. The baseball gods I expect, are looking fondly upon the Texas nine. Who'd a thunk the Yankees lose to a team form Texas that plays little ball better than they do.
On the Gardner FC RBI with the bases loaded; his bat explodes. The barrel hits a TBS cammera down the 1B line spot on, the head of the bat right in the lens. They show a shot through the shattered safety glass.
I'm wondering if the resonance of the un-juiced ball affects the maple bats differently than the resonance of the juiced ball from the home run era.
Noted that Gerardi, in an interview from the dug out, saw the small ball 3rd that scored 2 runs was a series of bad luck, not small ball. Gerardi out as the Yanks re-tool for a new era?
End of the 6th Inning
with the loss of Teixeira dealing a lethal blow, and the Yankees reacting like they're done for, I think the Yankees are going to lose this game, and - maybe the series?
At the beginning of this series I called a Yankee sweep, or 5 games, I said, "they're going to kill them" - not any more. The Texans are playing a game better suited to the new era I think now. The Yankees don't have the tools to beat the Rangers, or any team that understands it like the Rangers seem to. Yesterday I mentioned the bull pen was looking fragile, now the offense doesn't seem in it. But then they haven't been, 0 run yesterday, given runs in their win...
Top of the 7th
David Robertson gets it done, but Boone Logan gives up the 3 run home run to Bengie Molina.
End of the 7th
The Yankees keep going 1,2,3 - 1,2,3.
Top of 8th
Noting that Guererro is starting to hit.
It's quiet in out there, too quiet. The yanks will make a game of this, or my name's Dorthy.
Derek Holland is a god right now - the Yanks can't hit him.
Top of The 9th
WOW! Not the total domination of the Texans, but the total non-response from the New York Yankees. I expect the the Yanks will go down 1,2,3 in the bottom of the inning.
Alex Rodregez is noticeable in his dejection, a no play in the 6th, throwing wide to the new 1B man Swisher twice (one of which was an error, but not scored); which is understandable, the connection that the infielders feel between them and the first baseman is crucial - if you think you have to make a strike throw the pressure is too much and errors ensue.
Yankees are f*cked.
Bottom of the 9th
Yanks: Single, 1,2,3.
Yankees are f*cked.
Well that's all folks.
Oh, and my name's Dorthy
